Dr. Anthony Giovine
For over twenty seven years, Dr. Anthony Giovine has been caring for women at all stages of their lives. He is an associate professor at Drexel University. Completing his education at University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey, Dr. Giovine went on to residency at Monmouth Medical Center. Dr. Giovine continues to maintain one of the lowest c-section rates in the state of New Jersey and is sought after for both VBACs and versions. He is fully trained in robotic hysterectomy, and was a robotics preceptor. Dr. Giovine is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. His devotion is to the patients of A Woman’s Place.
Dr. Katherine Bohnert
Dr. Bohert completed her training at Albert Einsteen Medical Center in Philadelphia where she was a resident. She earned her medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Bohnert has been caring for the women of A Woman’s Place for six years and has a large following of patients, so be sure to book your yearlies early with her! Dr. Bohnert is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is also an accomplished photographer.
Dr. Vaishali Moghe
Dr. Vaishali Moghe brings more than ten years experience in OBGYN to her patients at A Woman’s Place. She has completed obstetrics and gynecologic residencies at both Flushing Hospital Medical Center in New York and Topical National Medical College. She is licensed in the state of New Jersey. Dr. Moghe was previously affiliated with Community Medical Center in Toms River. Dr. Moghe is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Abigail Wright
Dr. Abigail Wright earned her medical degree from New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. Her training is in biology from Portland, Maine, and at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York, where she graduated cum laude. Her residency training was completed at Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, New Jersey. Dr. Wright received the resident award for Excellence in High-Risk Obstetrics from the Maternal Fetal Medicine Association. Dr. Wright also has a long record of service work including work in the Lincoln Street Group Home for the Blind and Mentally Disabled in Portland, Maine. Dr. Wright welcomes new patients on her schedule.
Dr. Devon King
Dr. King graduated magna cu laude wot a BS in Biology from Bucknell University. She attended University of Maryland’s medical school and completed her residency training at Albany Medical Center. A Visiting Research Scholar at the Department of Physiology at Temple University School of Medicine, Dr. King has also worked in the Department of Neonatology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and as a research assistant in the Department of Biology at Bucknell University. Honors and Awards earned include Excellence in Endoscopy, Department of OB Gyn, Albany Medical Center and Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) All-American Lightweight First Team, Bucknell University.
Dr. Kelly McFarland-Dehn
Dr. McFarland-Dehn completed her residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, medical school at Ross University School of Medicine where she graduated magna cum laude, and Monmouth University where she graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Biology with a concentration in molecular cell physiology. Previous employment includes experience as a medical technologist at the Blood Bank at St. Barnabas Health Care System, a medical laboratory technician at MDS pharmaservices, and histology Technician also at St. Barnabas Health Care System.
Lee Clay, CNM
Fourteen years ago, Lee Summers Clay joined the staff of a Woman’s Place as our first certified nurse midwife. Prior to A Woman’s Place, Lee worked as a midwife at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Her experience is as varied as it is interesting: a lecturer in the Nurse-Midwifery Education Program at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Health Related Professions; Clinical Assistant Professor in the Nurse-Midwifery Education Program at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey; Associate Editor of the Journal of Midwifery and Women’s Health; Editor of the Media Review Column of the JNM/JMWH; and Liasson Committee Member to the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners. Lee Clay earned her masters of Science in Maternal-Child Health/Nurse Midwifery at a Columbia University where she was also a teaching assistant. She graduated cum laude from Duke University. Lee has published numerous articles in the Journal of Nurse Midwifery and is an active speaker on women’s issues. Dear to Lee’s heart is her international medical mission work. Above all, Lee Clay is a deeply engaged, and charitable community member.
Kristina Kohler, CNM
Eight years ago, Kristina Kohler began her work at A Woman’s Place. Before A Woman’s Place, Kristina practiced full-scope midwifery at Jacobi Medical Center where she was an active member of Jacobi Hospital Breastfeeding Taskforce. Part of Kristina’s breadth of experience derives from: years working at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles and University of California at Los Angeles in partnership at the School of Medicine at UCLA, as well as her work on the labor and delivery floor as a registered nurse at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Kristina earned both a BS in Nursing and a Masters of Arts in Midwifery at the School of Education at New York University. She is licensed by the International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants and Certified Nurse Midwife ACNM Council.
Bevin Cahill, CM
Bevin Cahill began her work at A Woman’s Place more than eight years ago. Prior to A Woman’s Place, Bevin practiced full-scope midwifery for nine years at Jacobi Medical Center. Her experience includes work as a doula providing education and emotional support in the puerperium. She has been a co-presenter at the ACNM Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. and has served on the Committee for the Advancement of Midwifery Practice. Bevin Cahill is a childbirth Educator as well as an Lactation Consultant.
Joan Doyle, NP
Joan Doyle has worked in the field of obstetrics and gynecology for over twenty years. A registered nurse on the labor and delivery floor at Monmouth Medical Center first, Joan has moved on to earn both a master’s of science and APN in nursing from Monmouth University in West Long Branch. Joan is BLS- and ACLS-certified. She is also a certified breast feeding counselor.
