Dr. Anthony Giovine

For over 30 years Dr. Anthony Giovine has been caring for women at all stages of their lives. He is an Associate professor at Drexel University as well as being a board-certified OB GYN. He completed his education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. After that he went on to complete his residency at Monmouth Medical Center. Dr Anthony Giovine continues to maintain one of the lowest Cesarean birth rates in the state of New Jersey and is sought after for both V-Bac’s and Versions. He is fully trained in Robotic Hysterectomy and was a robotics preceptor as well! Dr. Anthony Giovine’s devotion is truly to the patients of A Woman’s Place.

 


Dr. Katherine Bohnert

Dr.Katherine Bohnert earned her medical degree at Rowan University school of Osteopathic Medicine. After achieving that she went on to complete her training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she completed her residency, She is a board-certified OB GYN, who has been caring for the patients at A Woman’s Place for over 10 years! She has recently become certified as a lactation consultant. When not in the office Dr. Bohnert enjoys spending her free time taking photographs.

 

 


Dr. Vaishali Moghe

Dr. Vaishali Moghe brings more than ten years’ experience in OBGYN to her patients at A Woman’s Place. She has completed obstetrics and gynecologic residencies at both Flushing Hospital Medical Center in New York and Topical National Medical College. She is licensed in the state of New Jersey. Dr. Moghe was previously affiliated with Community Medical Center in Toms River. Dr. Moghe is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

 


Dr. Olga Tusheva

Dr Tusheva developed passion and long-standing commitment to excellence in women’s care in medical school. She received her medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, where she was a member of a Charter Class and a Co-founding member of Women’s Health Group. She was later recognized as an Outstanding Senior in Surgery.  Dr Tusheva completed an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan, NY and residency at Northwell Health System in Manhasset, NY.

Dr Tusheva is passionate about delivering the most innovated treatment approach to her patients. She completed a clinical research internship in minimally invasive gynecology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Department of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery in Boston, MA and a basic science research internship in developmental biology at the Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis, MO. She authored numerous articles and chapters in re-known print as well as digital publications.

As a mother herself, Dr Tusheva is dedicated to providing the most nurturing and comprehensive care to expecting women.

A former professional gymnast, Dr. Tusheva enjoys learning about healthy nutrition and lifestyle. She is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian and Macedonian.


Dr. Pallvi Singh

 

 


Dr. Abigail Wright

Dr. Abigail Wright is a board-certified OB GYN who earned her medical degree from New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. She had her training in biology in Portland, Maine as well as in Stoneybrook, New York, where she graduated cum laude. She completed her residency training at Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, New Jersey. While in residency Dr. Abigail Wright also received the resident award for excellence in high-risk OB from the Maternal Fetal Medicine Association. She also has a long record of service work including work she has done at the Lincoln Street group home for the blind and mentally disabled in Portland, Maine.

 

 


 Shirah Suero, CNM

Shirah was born in Chicago, but has lived in New Jersey for most of her life. Before working in healthcare, she worked in a group home for adolescents dealing with mental illness, but she always knew there was another purpose calling her. She attended New Jersey City University’s accelerated BSN program, and went on to work as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Monmouth Medical Center for nearly 10 years. It did not take long working with birth before she realized she would eventually become a midwife. She attended Frontier Nursing University and received her Master’s degree in their Nurse-Midwifery program.

Shirah lives in Toms River with her 4 children and amazing and supportive husband.  In her spare time, she enjoys travel, her favorite destination being Colorado.   She loves all kinds of crafts, especially knitting and crochet. But most of all she loves spending time at the beach with her family.  Shirah is so excited to be a part of A Woman’s Place and to work alongside such fabulous providers. She is passionate about helping women have a positive and empowering birth experience.


 

Michelle Mitchell, CNM

Mitchell Mitchell started in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology over ten years ago as a registered Labor and Delivery nurse in Centra State Hospital. She earned her nursing degree at Seaton Hall before furthering her education at the University of Philadelphia and the Institute of Midwifery where she obtained her masters degree. She is exceptionally kind and caring in the offices as well as in the delivery room to ensuring the best possible experiences for her patients. When not in the office Michelle enjoys organic gardening, rescuing dogs and cooking for her friends and family.

 


Bevin Cahill, CM

Bevin Cahill began her work as a full-scope midwife at A Woman’s Place more than 12 years ago. Prior to coming to New Jersey, Bevin practiced midwifery for 10 years at Jacobi Medical Center in New York City. Bevin is also a Lactation Consultant. She has been a co-presenter at the ACNM Annual Meeting in Washington D.C., has served on the Committee for the Advancement of Midwifery Practice, and is active in promoting best practices in local and national women’s health issues. She loves spending time with her family, especially her two daughters and husband. Her interests include gardening, reading, and appreciating and making art.

 


Joan Doyle, NP

Joan Doyle has worked in the field of obstetrics and gynecology for over twenty years. Starting as a Registered labor and delivery nurse at Monmouth Medical Center, then going on to further her education. Joan moved on to earn both a masters in science and an APN in nursing at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey. She is also BLSD as well as ACLS certified. When it comes to specialties Joan aims to help peri-menopausal women. When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family and a relaxing day by the beach.

 

 


Kim Shapiro, NP

Kim Shapiro received her BSN in nursing from Rutgers University, Newark, NJ where she graduated Summa Cum laude. She graduated Magna Cum laude from the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Program at Seton Hall University where she received her Master of Science in Nursing. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honor Society of Nursing, The American Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Julia Constantine, NP

Julia earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing at Drexel University, where she graduated with honors, before becoming an OB nurse. She worked on the postpartum unit at Inova Alexandria Hospital for 5 years prior to completing her masters of Science in Nursing from her Alma Mater. She is a board-certified Women’s health nurse practitioner that is well versed in adolescent gynecology, as well as in office procedures. When not in the office Julia enjoys sports, cooking and spending time with her fur baby Lucy.
